A Firefly 03-K64, from the TV series firefly.

The website banner is a variation of this image. It was widened and downscaled, with extra black added as padding. The extra width was added with brushes in GIMP.

Black space is interrupted by a grey ship. Flying into the camera at an angle, the ship has a long cylindrical body, with two engines attached on either side on arms. Directly behind it are orange flames. Out of the back, in two wide streams is yellow luminous gas from the exhaust. In the background are two horizontal beams of light: one light blue and large, the other above it, purple and smaller. Rainbow arcs are present around the ship. It's about to take off.

The above drawing, but without the added water. No black space is present, and the details are much more vague. The light blue and purple lines, the rainbows. Most of the detail is focused on the ship.
